After processing 200,000 images in a month, I had to make some changes to the language models being used; this ain’t no ChatGPT, these are open source solutions I’ve tuned myself that run privately with no training. They generate alt safely and ethically - running the server takes about as much power as running a ceiling fan - and will do a number of things that chatbots won’t in terms of description.
The high end version I had to place behind a $2 paywall because so many images were coming through - but hey, free Substack subscriber, here’s a free month of that:
